Capital City: Dushanbe, Tajikistan

Dushanbe serves as the capital of Tajikistan, situated within the Hissar Valley in its southern region. Historically dating back over three millennia, this city has witnessed significant architectural remnants across various periods. Archaeological excavations have uncovered evidence of Greek-Bactrian settlements, Kushan-era sites, and historical villages such as Shishi Khon.

Our itinerary begins early in the morning, commencing with a guided visit to the National Museum of Antiquities of Tajikistan. This institution features an extensive collection spanning history, natural sciences, and fine arts. Notably, the Buddha in Nirvana is among the museum's most prized artifacts.

Following the museum visit, we proceed towards Hissar Fortress, approximately 30 kilometers away from Dushanbe. Here, we shall explore the Madrasah Kukhna, a testament to Islamic architecture during the medieval era.

Upon returning to Dushanbe, our exploration continues with visits to the Gurminj Musical Instruments Museum, the statue of Ismail Somoni, and Rudaki Park. During the course of our tour, we'll also enjoy a traditional lunch prepared by local chefs.

Throughout the day, our knowledgeable guides will lead us through these fascinating landmarks, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of Tajikistan's rich cultural heritage. Upon concluding our journey, we will return to our accommodation, ready for restful nights ahead.
