The Dushanbe City Tour offers visitors an opportunity to explore the capital of Tajikistan, including visits to key landmarks such as the National Museum, the Hissar Fortress, and the Monument to Ismail Somoni.

Our guide and driver will be meeting you at your hotel. We shall commence our guided city tour by exploring the National Museum of Antiquities of Tajikistan. This museum, which is closed on Mondays, offers a comprehensive overview of the country's rich historical heritage through its diverse collection of artifacts. A particular highlight within the museum is the Buddha in Nirvana exhibit.

Following the visit to the museum, we shall proceed to Dusti Square, situated at the heart of Dushanbe, serving as both the city's symbol of friendship and the focal point of Tajikistan. Locals affectionately refer to this area as "Friendship Square," though some prefer to call it the "Monument of Ismail Somoni" due to its prominent Ismail Somoni Monument. Standing at a height of 13 meters, this colossal structure stands as the defining landmark of Dusti Square.

Upon reaching Central Mosque of Dushanbe, we shall witness one of the largest mosques in Tajikistan, also among the largest in Central Asia. The Mosque boasts a seating capacity of up to 120,000 for major events, while its own sanctuary can accommodate approximately 25,000 worshippers. The complex comprises multiple prayer halls, a library, a museum, an outdoor courtyard, and four towering minarets reaching over 250 feet into the sky.
