Continuing their journey, on Day 2, the hikers will traverse the highest peak of the Inca Trail—Dead Woman’s Pass at 4,215 meters (13,829 feet)—before descending into the scenic Chaquicocha valley. This descent takes around ten hours as they pass through diverse ecosystems teeming with life.
Day 3 unfolds with another challenging day, marked by a 6-hour trek. Visitors will reach Phuyupatamarca and Intipata before arriving at Wiñaywayna, a well-preserved pre-Incan archaeological site.
