Pick up from your hotel in Cusco between 3:00 AM and 3:30 AM. Proceeding towards Qollasuyo, travel for approximately 1.5 hours. Cross through the Cusipata district, stopping for a 30-minute breakfast break along the way.

Continuing onward, the journey takes another hour as you reach Fulawasipata. Pause briefly here to get briefed on the upcoming route. Start walking from the base of the Ausangate mountain range. Afterward, ascend for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach the highest peak of the Rainbow Mountain. On this ascent, observe various species of South American camelids—relatives of camels—and admire the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Upon reaching the summit, enjoy panoramic vistas of the area before descending back onto the lower ground via a 1-hour trek. Arrive back at Cusipata around 4:30 PM, where you can relish a hearty buffet lunch amidst the scenic beauty.
