Tsaghkadzor, Armenia
In this itinerary, participants will explore Sevan Lake, followed by a visit to Tsaghkadzor City. Engaging in various winter sports will provide an exciting experience during their stay.
Our exploration commences at Sevan Lake, situated within the Gegharkunik region. This renowned gem, known as the "Pearl of Armenia," stands out as one of the world's largest high-altitude lakes, framed by imposing peaks. We commence our expedition by embarking on a pilgrimage to the serene Sevanavank Monastery, located alongside the picturesque shoreline of the lake. Here, amidst the azure waters and the historical structure, an atmosphere of tranquility awaits us.
Subsequently, we venture into the Kotayk region, where the enchanting landscape of Tsaghkadzor captivates visitors throughout the year. In the cooler months, the town transforms into a winter wonderland, adorned with pristine white landscapes; during spring, summer, and autumn, its vibrant natural splendor and moderate, healthful climate make it an ideal retreat for outdoor enthusiasts. Upon arrival, we will explore the ancient Tsaghkadzor Kecharis Monastery, followed by an opportunity to ascend the cable car, engage in skiing or snowboarding, or simply enjoy the stunning views from the mountainous terrain.
