Wadi Rum Desert, Aqaba, Jordan
A half-day Jeep tour offers an excellent opportunity to explore the iconic attractions of the picturesque Wadi Rum desert while immersing oneself in Bedouin culture.
Tour Start:
Upon arrival in Jordan, should you depart from another location within the country, our team will greet you at the parking lot adjacent to Wadi Rum Village. Upon arrival, you may proceed to board our state-of-the-art 4x4 Jeep. Following this, your belongings will be securely stowed inside the vehicle for your convenience.
Should you prefer to continue your journey after disembarking from our accommodation, we offer the option of starting your adventure from the established campsite or the ancient cave. Alternatively, if you had previously stayed overnight at either location, our tour will commence immediately upon departure.
The itinerary includes several key stops along the route, including Khazali Canyon, Lawrence Spring, the renowned Red Sand Dune, the iconic Small Arch, and the picturesque Um Fruth Bridge. During each stop, the vehicle will come to a halt, allowing ample time for exploration, rock-climbing opportunities, and photo-taking experiences. In addition, visitors may engage in traditional Bedouin tea-drinking sessions at various points along the journey.
Throughout the day, you'll have the opportunity to visit Abu Khashaba Canyon, traversing its winding paths towards the opposite shore over a period of approximately thirty minutes. Upon reaching the destination, you'll be picked up by our staff once more.
For those seeking a unique experience, additional time might be allocated to attempt sandboarding on one of the larger sand dunes found within the vicinity.
End of Tour:
In case you commenced your tour in the late afternoon, we plan to conclude our expedition at Um Sabatah, where we shall witness the mesmerizing sunset views. Our experienced guides will prepare a campfire and serve Bedouin tea as a delightful post-sunset treat.
Following the evening meal, we will transport you back to our accommodations, either the campsite, the cave, or Wadi Rum Village.
Optionally, we offer overnight stays at our establishment, priced at 15 JD per person.
