Upon arrival at the hotel's lobby, our knowledgeable guide will commence the tour, leading us to explore the enchanting coastal towns of the Yucatán Peninsula. Our initial destination will be the bustling port town of Sisal, nestled within the expansive El Palmar State Reserve. Historically significant during the colonial era, this location played a pivotal role in the commercial exploitation of henequen fibers and cotton.

Our exploration begins with a stroll through the quaint streets of Sisal, offering visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of the region. Subsequently, we shall proceed to the historic Fort of Santiago, providing insight into the strategic importance of this fortification throughout history.

Following this, we embark on a 6-hour guided tour across three distinct ecological zones: Sea, Ciénega, and Petén. This journey traverses approximately 12 kilometers along the coastline aboard a traditional fishing boat, allowing us to marvel at the pristine beauty of the surrounding marine environment. Alongside the serene waters, we will also encounter a picturesque waterhole, boasting crystal-clear depths that offer a refreshing swim experience.

As the day draws to a close, we will conclude our tour with a leisurely lunch featuring locally sourced fish fillets, followed by ample free time before returning to Mérida.
