Sintra, Highlights Tour, Coastline and Cascais

Explore the enchanting region known as Sintra, featuring captivating monuments and awe-inspiring viewpoints. Embark on an exhilarating journey as we traverse the mountainside and venture towards the coastline, where spectacular vistas await!

Upon arrival, we proceed immediately to the Pena Palace, where visitors are afforded approximately one and a half hours to explore the enchanting D. Fernando II summer residence. Following this, we traverse down the mountain to unveil Quinta da Regaleiras' breathtaking architectural marvels for another one and a half hours.

Continuing on our journey, we receive a concise overview of Quinta de Monserrate's allure upon reaching our destination. Our next culinary adventure commences with a visit to a chosen local eatery, from which we recommend two options. We then proceed towards Azenhas do Mar, admiring its picturesque cliffside homes for at least fifteen minutes.

Our route takes us straight through the coastline, culminating in Cabo da Roca—the westernmost tip of continental Europe. Here, we allocate half an hour exclusively for photography and leisurely exploration.

Following our departure from Cabo da Roca, we make a brief detour by visiting Boca do Inferno, a fascinating geological formation situated near our final checkpoint in Cascais. Trains departing from Cascais to Cais do Sodré, Lisbon, operate every half hour.
