From Lake Lungern, we ascend the Brünig mountain pass. At an elevation of approximately 1,008 meters above sea level, we take a brief detour to Brienz. Upon reaching Brienz, there are two main options available: either you can opt for an excursion to the impressive Giessbach Waterfalls, where you'll witness the cascading beauty of nature; alternatively, if you prefer a more direct route, you may choose to drive straight to Interlaken/Grindelwald. Notably, just beyond the Giessbach Waterfalls lies the historic Giessbach Hotel, a luxurious establishment rich in history that offers a unique stay.
