Private Full day Nandi Hill Excursion with Lunch

Nandi Hills serves as a popular summer resort in Bangalore, also referred to as Nandidurga. Historically, it was one of the preferred locations for royal retreats during the reign of Tipu Sultan. The area takes its name from an ancient Nandi temple located atop the hill, which features a remarkable 1,000-year-old statue of Nandi.

In early mornings during summer and winter seasons, starting at approximately 6:00 AM in summer and 7:00 AM in winter, guests will be picked up from Bangalore Hotel and driven to Nandihill, which is situated approximately 60-65 kilometers away from the city center. Nandi Hill stands at an elevation of 4,851 feet above sea level.

Upon arrival, visitors can appreciate the misty views of Nandi Hill. Following breakfast, they will proceed to the Tipu's Drop—a 600-meter-high cliff face where it is believed that condemned prisoners were allegedly pushed to their deaths. This site features several beautiful temples, including the Gavi Veerbhadra Swamy Temple.

Following the exploration of the museum, lunch will be enjoyed at a nearby local restaurant. Post-lunch, the group will proceed to explore the Amruth Sarovar—a serene lake filled with crystal-clear waters throughout the year. Next, Arkavathi River Origin will be visited, showcasing the river’s journey originating on the southern-western side of the hill. Visitors can marvel at the picturesque bungalows and well-maintained gardens along the banks of the river.

The scenic drive continues as the driver navigates through the lush forests surrounding the hills. Along this route, one might encounter sunflower gardens and vineyards, providing a glimpse into the rich agricultural heritage of the region.

By evening, between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, the driver will drop off the guests at their hotel location in Bangalore.
