Pretoria, Pretoria City Tour and Cullinan Diamond Mine Tour

Tour commences at 9:00 AM, visiting the Voortrekker Monument, situated atop a hill overlooking Cape Colony from where the Vootrekkers departed between 1835 and 1854.

At 10:00 AM, visitors proceed to the Kruger House, home to the Boer leader and President of South Africa's Republic, Paul Kruger.

Proceeding further, one reaches Church Square, an original market square central to the city of Pretoria, now serving as a historical district.

The square features statues of four anonymous Boer citizen-soldiers, each positioned below Kruger’s statue on a lower level of the plinth.

Continuing towards the Union Building, located at the northern end of Arcadia near Church Square, this imposing edifice served both as the Presidential residence and administrative headquarters until its transformation into a museum.

After lunch (if desired), the group travels approximately 40 minutes to the Cullinan Mine, a quaint town nestled within the Gauteng Province, just 30 kilometers east of Pretoria along the renowned Diamond Route.

Upon arrival, participants embark upon a comprehensive tour of Cullinan, which boasts the world's largest gem-quality rough diamond, measuring 3,106.16 carats or 621.35 grams—discovered at the Premier No.2 mine on January 26, 1905.

The concluding segment of the tour concludes with a departure back to the pickup point at 4:00 PM.
