Our clients will embark upon an extraordinary journey through some of Georgia's most breathtaking canyons during this exclusive day tour from Kutaisi. Upon arrival at their accommodation, guests will be picked up promptly, ensuring no additional hassle or search for meeting points.
Our first destination is Okatse Canyon, where visitors will marvel at its iconic hanged bridges. Spanning a distance of approximately 2.5 kilometers, these bridges are accessible via footpaths. For those seeking a more adventurous experience, local off-road vehicles are available for transport between the visitor center and the bridge, covering a total of 1.5 kilometers. This segment adds another 2 kilometers to the overall walk, bringing the total distance to around 7 kilometers. It is important to note that due to weather conditions, Okatse Canyon may close temporarily during periods of rainfall.
Continuing our tour, we proceed to Martvili Canyon, situated about one hour away from Okatse. Here, two distinct activities await: hiking along the canyon's picturesque waterfalls and choosing whether to participate in a guided boat trip through the canyon, which is not offered when it rains. The walking trail stretches for approximately 700 meters, taking roughly 40-50 minutes to complete. On the other hand, the boat ride through the canyon lasts just 20 minutes under normal circumstances but ceases operation during rainy spells.
As the sun sets in the late afternoon, our next stop is Prometheus Cave, offering both a guided walking tour through the cave and a scenic boat ride across its depths. Both activities take approximately 1 hour to complete, while the boat ride itself is brief, lasting merely 15 minutes. Following the conclusion of our exploration, our final stop transports us to the abandoned sanatorium of the Soviet era located in the historic city of Tskaltubo, once renowned as a spa resort.
