The sightings at Monad Shoal have consistently been remarkable, attracting both enthusiasts and professionals alike. However, recent observations suggest that thresher sharks may now preferentially gather at Kimud Shoal, a shallow and less crowded area comparable to Monad. Consequently, scheduled shark dives at Kimud Shoal are offered, offering a thrilling experience with minimal competition. The P500 fuel surcharge associated with these expeditions underscores the exceptional nature of the encounter.

While thresher sharks were previously most prevalent during dawn hours, sightings have become increasingly diverse throughout the morning. Thus, we offer two distinct shark dives: either a standard 4-hour session or a double shark dive package, each designed to provide maximum enjoyment and flexibility. Additionally, we introduce a new three-shark-dive trip, catering specifically to those seeking an unforgettable experience. Our innovative 3-day dive packages combine shark exploration with additional opportunities for exploring other underwater marvels, such as the vibrant coral reefs and abundant marine life surrounding Gato Diving Site.

For optimal conditions, we finalize the exact schedule of the shark dive the day prior to departure, ensuring no specific date can predict the itinerary. Therefore, travelers should consider visiting over multiple days to capitalize on the varied offerings available. We may even offer alternative schedules on certain days, reflecting the dynamic nature of our operations.

Upon arrival at the dive center, guests board a spacious balsa raft bound for the designated dive site. At Monad Shoal, explorers descend to depths ranging from 16 to 30 meters (or 12 meters at Kimud Shoal), under the guidance of an experienced PADI Divemaster. The journey through the ocean reveals a kaleidoscope of marine life, including whitetip reef sharks, grey sharks, devil rays, blue-ringed octopuses, ornate ghost pipefish, frogfish, and countless varieties of nudibranchs and shrimps.

Post-dive, participants are promptly transported back to the dive shop. Throughout the process, equipment costs are billed separately, allowing for personalized customization based on individual needs and preferences.
