Tour Description

Starting early in the morning from La Paz City, this mountain biking adventure to Coroico commences via transportation to "La Cumbre," located approximately 1 hour away from La Paz, situated at an elevation of 4,700 meters above sea level.

Leg 1: This leg involves a 22-kilometer downhill ride on paved roads. Upon reaching the police checkpoint after 45 minutes, all participants will need to pay Bs. 50 for entry into the national park. This initial segment serves primarily as a confidence-building exercise, allowing riders to become accustomed to their bikes. Safety measures are continuously monitored throughout the group, ensuring there are frequent breaks for hydration, photo opportunities, and equipment inspections.

Leg 2: Proceeding along what locals affectionately call the "Death Road," this section stretches for roughly 10 kilometers and maintains a close formation. It features periodic snack breaks consisting of chocolate, fruits, and other refreshments.

Leg 3: The final stretch of the journey spans approximately 32 kilometers. The route begins with a thrilling waterfall splash before concluding at Yolosa. Following this, the team will proceed to a hotel equipped with showers, a swimming pool, and a dining facility. The entire tour concludes around 5:00 PM, when participants return to La Paz, traveling via the newly constructed road.
