The Kuranda Train will not operate until 13th February due to maintenance. During this period, tours will be conducted using Skyrail both directions and returning. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

For bookings until 13th February 2024:

1. Pick up from your accommodation in the Cairns city area.
2. Head to the Skyrail Station upon boarding.
3. Depart from Smithfield Skyrail Station at 10:45 AM.
4. Arrive in Kuranda around noon and enjoy free time.
5. Depart from Kuranda by the Kuranda Skyrail Station at 12:45 PM.
6. Wait for your driver at Smithfield Skyrail Station at 1:45 PM.
7. Drop off at your hotel at 3:15 PM.

Starting from 14th February 2024 onwards:

1. Explore the picturesque village of Kuranda amidst the pristine World Heritage-listed rainforest.
2. Be picked up from your hotel and proceed to the train station.
3. Enjoy the scenic views on the Kuranda Scenic Railway.
4. Marvel at the beauty of Barron Gorge on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway.
5. Visit the markets, shops, and walking trails, or take a river cruise (seasonal) lasting approximately 2.5 hours.
6. Indulge in the local delicacies or dine at Frog's Restaurant, known for its unique sauces and dressings.
7. Experience the thrilling Skyrail ride, spanning 7.5 kilometers through the rainforest canopy.
8. Spot native wildlife such as the cassowary, the world's third-largest flightless bird.
9. Take the Skyrail back down to the bottom (Skyrail Smithfield station) at 1:45 PM.
10. Embark on an unforgettable journey of discovery deep into the world's oldest continuously surviving tropical rainforest.
11. Be picked up again by bus at 3:15 PM to bring you back to your hotel.

Please note that the Skyrail experience is a must-see attraction within Australia's World Heritage-listed tropical rainforest.
