Jeep Sunrise & Natural Hot Spirng

Location Batur Natural Hot Spring, Kintamani, Indonesia

Full day trip

Journeying to Mount Batur with a Jeep 4WD to witness the breathtaking sunrise without engaging in strenuous physical activity.

Exploring Mount Batur, characterized by its striking black lava formations and captivating black sand beaches, begins with the chauffeur picking up guests from their accommodation upon request. Departure commences approximately three hours after check-in, with the journey taking place within two hours of arrival at the starting point.

Upon reaching the designated pickup location, guests are greeted by a local guide and an equipped Jeep 4WD vehicle. During the ascent towards Mount Batur's summit, the driver will provide commentary on various geological features along the route, including the breathtaking Black Lava formations. Upon reaching the peak, the team prepares for the spectacular sight of the sunrise, which occurs roughly two hours into the journey.

As the sun rises, the driver will arrange for a light breakfast and offer complimentary hot beverages such as coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or even a special blend known as "danger tea." Guests are encouraged to enjoy these beverages during this serene moment of natural beauty.

Following the stunning display of nature's palette, the group descends from the summit and explores the remnants of the volcanic activity. Specifically, they encounter the last significant outpouring of lava, dating back to 1963, offering a unique glimpse into the region's geologic history. As the lava continues to flow, visitors have the opportunity to observe houses constructed amidst the molten rock. This experience lasts approximately thirty minutes before the vehicle returns to the meeting point.

The next phase involves driving through the area filled with black lava, where the vehicle will eventually reach the renowned Hot Spring. Here, guests can immerse themselves in the therapeutic waters for approximately one hour and thirty minutes, rejuvenating both body and soul under the watchful gaze of the majestic Mount Batur volcano.

After concluding their exploration, the chauffeur will transport the group back to their initial accommodation. Should additional activities be desired, guests may inform the driver of their preferences, ensuring a seamless return journey. Finally, the driver will conclude the tour by dropping off guests at their original pickup location, signifying the end of their unforgettable adventure on Mount Batur.
