This guided tour commences at 12:00 PM, offering an earlier departure compared to many tours – starting with hotel pickup services from 11:30 AM onwards. Traveling through the picturesque Waikato region, characterized by its thriving cattle and dairy farming industries, this itinerary includes passing by various sheep farms along the route towards Hobbiton.

Upon reaching Hobbiton, guests are afforded ample opportunity to enjoy a meal (at their own expense), explore the Shire's souvenir shop, or engage in independent exploration. Following these preliminary activities, participants join Hobbiton Tours for an engaging group walking tour of the movie set. This segment concludes with a complimentary beverage courtesy of the Green Dragon pub, followed by a journey back to Auckland via coach.
