Summary of Day 1

Upon arrival at Maseru Airport, guests will be picked up and transported to the Lodge. Following lunch, a local guide will lead a guided horse riding excursion lasting approximately 3 hours, aimed at exploring the San Rock Art Paintings. Upon returning to the Lodge, guests will attend a traditional dance performance followed by live music featuring handmade instruments. Evening entertainment includes dinner prepared according to guest preferences.

Summary of Day 2

Following completion of the day’s activities, guests will sign indemnity forms and secure their belongings onto packs attached to the backs of the guides’ packhorses. A brief safety briefing will be conducted to familiarize guests with proper horseback riding techniques. The journey through the rugged terrain will involve a series of challenging terrains including steep descents, river crossings, and ascending slopes. At the conclusion of this section, guests will have the opportunity to rest and enjoy a picnic lunch before reaching the next destination. Once there, guests will spend the night in rural villages, sleeping in huts.

Summary of Day 3

Starting the day with a challenging uphill climb, guests will ascend from 1850 meters to 2600 meters via the top of the Falls. Here, they will pause to appreciate the panoramic views. Despite the initial difficulty, the ascent becomes relatively straightforward over the course of the next few hours. Guests will continue towards Georgina's village, where they will spend the night in rustic accommodations.

Summary of Day 4

Today marks the commencement of a significant challenge involving a commercial single-drop abseil. Known as the World Record Fall, this activity involves descending a height of 204 meters. The route offers breathtaking views of the surroundings. Post-abseiling, guests will embark upon a gentle trail leading down the mountain, enjoying the scenery along the way. Meals will be served both indoors and outdoors, offering a delightful dining experience.

Summary of Day 5

Guests will commence their return journey after breakfast, retracing their steps through scenic landscapes. During the trip, guests will observe various viewpoints, experiencing different vistas compared to previous days. Upon arrival in the village, guests will be greeted warmly by locals.

Summary of Day 6

The final leg of the journey begins early in the morning, covering approximately 6 hours. This segment features an easy, flat route that allows guests to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding area. Guests will arrive at a location known as the Valley of Paradise, where they will receive warm welcome showers and comfortable lodging facilities. An evening meal and communal fireside gatherings will conclude the day.

Summary of Day 7

On this day, guests may encounter a temporary change due to flooding on the Makhaleng River. As such, guests should expect an additional two hours added to their travel time. Upon descending into the Valley of Paradise, guests will be greeted by hot showers and the amenities of the Lodge. Enjoy a sumptuous home-cooked meal and engage in lively discussions around the campfire under the starlit sky.

After departing the Lodge for the airport, guests will board their flights, concluding their adventure in South Africa.
