Golden Triangle Tour With Shimla

Shimla, a renowned hill station with historical significance as the summer capital of India during the British era, continues to attract increasing numbers of tourists owing to its picturesque natural landscapes.

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

On arrival at New Delhi Airport, guests will be welcomed in traditional Indian manner. They will then be transferred to their pre-booked hotel where they will spend their first night.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

Following breakfast, guests will embark on a guided tour of Delhi. Commencing with the visit of India’s largest mosque, the Jama Masjid, guests will proceed to the Red Fort. Following this, they will visit Raj Ghat, a monument dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. Proceeding further, guests will travel approximately 20 minutes northward to India Gate. In the afternoon, they will visit Humayun’s Tomb, a renowned architectural masterpiece inspired by the Taj Mahal. Following this, guests will proceed to visit Qutub Minar, the world's tallest tower, erected during the reigns of Qutubuddin Aibak and Iltutmish. Guests will then reside at their chosen hotel in Delhi for the night.

Day 3: Delhi – Jaipur

Starting with early breakfast, guests will board a vehicle for a journey to Jaipur, which takes approximately 5 hours to reach. Upon arrival, they will check into their hotel and relax before beginning their day trip to Jaipur. Highlights of the Jaipur itinerary include the Royal City Palace (Maharaja Museum), the iconic Hawa Mahal designed for royal ladies to observe the daily lives of street vendors, and the Astronomical Observatory, often referred to as Jantar Mantar. Guests will then return to their hotel for the night.

Day 4: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

On waking up, guests will prepare their belongings and make their way to Amber Fort located atop a hill in Jaipur. Enjoy the scenic views while taking a luxurious elephant ride to reach its summit. Next, guests will proceed to Agra, where they will check into their hotel. During their stay, they will explore the historic city of Agra, including the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World; the magnificent Agra Fort; and the Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb, affectionately known as Baby Taj Mahal.

Day 5: Agra Sightseeing – Delhi

Guests will begin their day by visiting the stunning Taj Mahal, the epitome of beauty. After completing their visit to the Taj Mahal, guests will return to their hotel for lunch. They will have ample time to rest before embarking on a guided tour of the Agra Fort, showcasing the grandeur of Mughal architecture. Following this, guests will travel by expressway to Delhi, where they will check into their hotel and spend the remainder of their stay there.

Day 6: Delhi – Shimla (via Train)

In the morning, guests will be transported to New Delhi Railway Station to board a train bound for Kalka Railway Station. Upon arrival in Kalka, guests will board another train known as the “Toy Train,” passing through 102 tunnels and picturesque hill landscapes. Upon reaching Shimla, they will check into their hotel for the night.

Day 7: Shimla Tour

On arriving at Shimla, guests will enjoy a variety of attractions. Key sites include the Ridge, a popular destination for tourists; the Jakhu Temple, featuring Hanuman statues; the Christ Church; and the Himachal State Museum. Evening activities include walking along the Mall Road, known for its shopping opportunities, diverse dining options, bars, and multiple cuisine restaurants. Guests will conclude their day by returning to their hotel.

Day 8: Shimla – Delhi

For the next morning, guests will be driven to the Delhi Airport, where they will catch their departing flight back home.
