Starting the overland journey towards the Kin Pun "base camp" of Golden Rock, a 5:30 AM hotel pickup in Yangon is scheduled. Proceeding onwards to Kyaiktiyo, known as the "Golden Rock," where this massive boulder is encrusted with golden leaves and precariously balanced on the brink of a cliff. Upon arrival at Kim Pun base camp, visitors are expected to disembark at approximately noon.

Upon reaching Kim Pun Base Camp, guests will embark on an open truck ride to ascend to the summit of the mountain pagoda. Upon reaching the peak, they may proceed to explore the Golden Rock Pagoda and capture photographs amidst the scenic surroundings. Post-ascension, a meal break will ensue at a nearby local restaurant en route.

Following lunch, travelers depart from Kyaiktho and retrace their steps back to Yangon via Bago. This leg of the trip features a notable stopover at the Shwemawdaw Pagoda, an ancient structure dating back over a millennium. The pagoda's distinctive spire surpasses that of Yangon’s iconic Shwedagon Pagoda, attracting numerous pilgrims. Additionally, the site offers the opportunity to view the colossal 55-meter-long reclining Shwe Thalyaung Buddha Image, venerated throughout Myanmar. A brief detour to Kyaik Pun Pagoda is also included, renowned for its impressive collection of four colossal Buddha statues.

If time allows, a visit to the Allied War Cemetery in Htauk Kyant is proposed, providing insight into the historical landscape. By evening, visitors will return to their accommodation.
