Imbros Gorge, situated in the southeastern region of the White Mountains, measures approximately 7 kilometers in length and boasts steep slopes reaching heights of up to 300 meters. This scenic feature commences at the village of Imbros, which stands at an elevation of 800 meters above sea level, and concludes at the village of Komitades, where the altitude drops to just 300 meters.

As one enters the gorge, visitors might come across remnants of an ancient cobbled road that once served as the sole means of transportation linking the village of Sfakia to the northern shores of the island.
