Discover Lemurs of Madagascar

Madagascar's lemurs are iconic wildlife inhabitants, comprising over 100 distinct species ranging from diminutive to majestic in size. This expedition offers an opportunity to witness a diverse array of these unique primates across their natural habitats.

Starting from Antananarivo, the itinerary spans over 11 days/10 nights, covering various natural and cultural sites across Madagascar.

Day 1: Begins with a city tour in Antananarivo, followed by an exploration of Antsirabe, including visits to various workshops, art shops, and colonial-era architecture. A scenic drive takes you towards Ranomafana thermal waters, where the rainforest awaits. Afterward, there's a night tour to spot the smallest lemur, the Mouse lemur, at the edge of the national park.

Day 2: Departing from Ranomafana, the group heads to Ambalavao, where they encounter the Lemurs catta in the Anja community park.

Day 3: They proceed to Antsirabe via National Road 7, admiring the diverse flora and fauna of the region.

Day 4: Continuing their journey, they reach Andasibe, home to the famous Indri Indri, the largest lemur species.

Day 5: Heading north again, they travel to Andasibe via National Road 7.

Day 6: This day focuses on exploring the Andasibe National Park, discovering its rich biodiversity and the presence of various lemur species.

Day 7: Dedicated to visiting the Vakôna Reserve, where visitors have the opportunity to see lemurs on Lemur Island.

Day 8: The group arrives at Andasibe, where they spend the day enjoying the company of lemurs within the Palmarium Hotel grounds. Their stay includes observing various species of lemurs and seeing the large Aye Aye, the largest nocturnal lemur.

Day 9: During the morning, they explore the diverse wildlife found within the hotel premises, alongside animals and tourists.

Day 10: Following the boat ride, they continue their journey to Andasibe, arriving for the night.

Day 11: Finally, they conclude their trip by stopping at the Peyrerias reserve to view the chameleons of Madagascar before returning to Antananarivo, ending their adventure in the capital city.
