Dharavi Slum Tour

Dharavi serves as the most populous slum in Asia, encompassing over one million residents. Our educational excursion offers an opportunity for visitors to explore this urban setting and engage in discussions on the socio-economic challenges faced by its inhabitants.

We rendezvous at the ThirdWave Coffee Shop as the focal point for our exploration. Proceeding from there, we embark on a journey through Dharavi Slums, commencing with an examination of the bustling working district. Herein, we delve into the diverse occupations practiced by local residents, engaging in dialogue to gain insights into their professional pursuits.

Subsequently, we traverse to the residential quarters within Dharavi, where we engage in discussions that illuminate daily life and address the socio-economic challenges confronting the community. Our visit concludes with a reflection upon Khumbharwada, a neighborhood renowned for its uniqueness. Following this, we proceed to return to the ThirdWave Coffee Shop, where our adventure commenced.
