Departing from Plaza Foch at 7:15 AM (Reina Victoria and Mariscal Foch), proceed towards Plaza San Blas at 7:30 AM (Francisco de Caldas and Av. Pichincha). Upon reaching the entrance to the National Park, allow passengers sufficient time to purchase breakfast and essential supplies for the journey ahead.

Upon entering Cotopaxi National Park, located at an elevation of 3,200 meters above sea level (approximately 10,498.69 feet), commence the guided explanation of the unique flora and fauna found within its lower regions. At this altitude, approximately 3,600 meters (about 11,811.02 feet), observe the breathtaking scenery with photographs capturing the natural beauty of the landscape.

Following the descent to 4,500 meters (approximately 14,765 feet), provide detailed explanations regarding the hike to Refugio José Rivas, which stands at an elevation of 4,864 meters (approximately 15,960 feet).

After completing the hike, return to the parking lot where cyclists may disembark and begin their ascent back to the National Park via bicycle. For those opting to descend by bicycle, instruct them to maintain a pace of approximately 45 meters per hour during their journey.

Proceed to the National Park's main area for orientation and further exploration before returning to the designated restaurant for a well-deserved lunch. Following lunch, depart the park and make your way back to Quito.

Throughout the day, photograph Limpiopungo lagoon as you load your bicycles onto the waiting vehicles, ensuring every moment captures the essence of Ecuadorian nature and culture.
