ITINERARY

Departure from Lima at 05:00 AM, embarking on a captivating journey through the lush landscapes of Peru's Lima Mountains. As we traverse these majestic peaks, we'll be privileged to witness ancient rock carvings at Checta Petroglyphs, revealing intricate depictions of animals, human hunts, celestial elements, and abstract symbols interpreted by different cultures over time.

Our route takes us to Cochapampa Viewpoint, offering breathtaking panoramas. Upon arrival at Laguna de Chuchun, Laguna Ocho, and Laguna Leoncocha, we'll marvel at their serene beauty amidst the snow-capped peaks of La Viuda. Following this enchanting landscape tour, we proceed to Huaro Community Fish Farm. Here, we'll engage in an educational experience learning about trout farming practices.

For lunch, we'll savor a delightful culinary adventure featuring dishes such as flatbread, rolls, rosquitas, humitas, tamales canteños, honey, manjar blanco, cow butter, cow cheeses, and beef.

Continuing our journey, we'll explore the historic city of Canta. Known for its pivotal roles during the wars for independence and against Chile, Canta offers a rich historical context. Our guided tour includes visiting the Plaza de Armas, the historic pools, the gates of the Republican era, the Church, and the Mariscal Chaperito statue.

At the bustling market, shoppers can indulge in local delicacies like honey, manjar blanco, cow butter, cow cheeses, and meat. Our spiritual exploration concludes with a visit to the Sanctuary of Our Patron Saint, where visitors can pray and seek blessings.
