Embark on an exhilarating journey through Azerbaijan’s enchanting landscapes, where the ancient Chiraggala Fortress beckons hikers with its storied past and breathtaking vistas. Starting at an elevation of 640 meters, the journey ascends to 1025 meters over a distance of 380 meters. This ascent will take approximately two hours. Located 43 kilometers north of the Shabran district center, the picturesque village of Galaalti is nestled beneath the shadow of Chiraggala Castle, whose foundation dates back to the 4th to 6th centuries AD. Its name translates to "Village Under the Castle," reflecting its strategic importance during this period.

Emerging from the lush greenery, the trail leads to Chiraggala, the highest point of the Gilgilchay defensive wall, constructed during the same era to safeguard the ancient trade routes. From the summit, overlooking both the Beshbarmak Wall and the Derbend Fortress, the view stretches for up to 100 kilometers along the coastlines.

Upon arrival in Galaalti, participants will embark on a guided hiking excursion, beginning their ascent at 8:00 AM. Upon reaching the village, they will proceed to explore the therapeutic properties of the local mineral waters, known for their rejuvenating effects. At lunchtime, they shall enjoy a restorative meal before returning to the vehicle. By evening, they will arrive at their accommodation by 20:00 PM, concluding their tour program with a comfortable stay awaiting them.
