Bovec, Mountain Caving Adventure

Experience an unparalleled adventure by exploring the enchanting world beneath the earth's surface in the scenic mountains of karst region. Discover expansive underground chambers, navigate through intricate passageways, and marvel at ancient geological wonders as you ascend to breathtaking vistas within approximately two hours.

Please arrive at the designated location at 15 minutes prior to the scheduled tour commencement at the central office in Bovec. Upon arrival, join the caving expedition team for a brief orientation session. Following this, proceed with a 5-minute drive towards the cave's starting point.

Proceed to the cave entrance after donning your necessary gear. Your journey into the cave will commence with a 20-minute walk along its winding path, walking closely as you traverse through narrow passages. Expect to experience various geological formations such as large caverns, intricate corridors, and ascending/descending pathways shaped by time and water erosion.

Engage in an exploration lasting approximately two hours within the cave, observing diverse rock formations and fascinating features like stalagmites, stalactites, and fossil remains formed over countless millennia. Marvel at these captivating natural wonders while navigating through the cave system.

Upon exiting the cave, descend via a controlled rappelling process leading you to a platform positioned 30 meters above ground level. After completing your descent, follow a 10-minute walk back towards the vehicle awaiting your departure. Finally, return to the central office in Bovec where you will be met and escorted back to your vehicle for the remainder of your journey.
