Originally situated near the coast, it has undergone significant land reclamation over the latter part of the 20th century, making its current location several kilometers inland. Ahmed Al Fateh Islamic Center (Grand Mosque)
One of the largest mosques globally, the Al-Fateh Mosque (formerly known as Al-Fateh Islamic Center and Al Fateh Grand Mosque) boasts an area of 6,500 square meters and can accommodate over 7,000 worshippers simultaneously.
