Small group excursions, limited to six participants, will introduce you to driving safely within the natural surroundings of the region. We commence at a convenient pickup from Kiruna Town, then proceed to our cozy base camp in Kalixforsbron where you will meet your experienced guide and receive essential gear including warm winter attire.

Your journey begins as you board our equipped snowmobiles, guided by expert instructors. These vehicles, designed for maximum power and maneuverability, offer ample space for two passengers who share the responsibility of steering. Safety measures are meticulously planned, ensuring every participant feels secure throughout the trip.

To enhance your experience, pack your camera to capture the breathtaking Northern Lights dancing high above the Arctic landscape. Although there’s no guarantee of seeing them, the evening activities promise much more besides. As you traverse frozen lakes, forest paths, and expansive marshes, keep an eye out for the diverse array of Arctic fauna—reindeer, moose, Arctic hares, and even "Ripa"—the latter being recognized as Kiruna's unique emblematic species.

Post-exploration, gather round the communal fire pit for a traditional Swedish Fika session, accompanied by coffee and homemade treats. This informal gathering provides an opportunity to discuss the fascinating phenomena of the Aurora Borealis, its scientific basis, and cultural significance.

Following the tour, we arrange a return journey to your departure point, leaving behind unforgettable memories of your expedition into the icy north.

For optimal enjoyment, dress warmly, wearing items like a balaclava or scarf to protect against cold temperatures. Additionally, bring along sunglasses if you wear glasses; they may require conversion to protective lenses during the excursion.

Please note that for enhanced comfort, consider wearing lightweight gloves or mittens to maintain dexterity when operating the vehicle controls.

Itinerary	The four pickup locations available are as follows: 1. Malmvägen 9B 2. Camp Ripan 3. Stora Coop 4. Best Western Hotel Arctic Eden The safety briefing will commence at Kalixforsbron after 30 minutes. Additionally, there is a guided tour option for sightseeing and snowmobile rides, lasting approximately one and a half hours. A break time with coffee, tea, and welcome refreshments will also be included, lasting thirty minutes. Please note that the itinerary may be subject to change.

Pickup included

The designated Kiruna Lapland Tourist Center is located at Malmvägen 9B. Guests should assemble at the entrance of their pick-up point at the commencement of service. It is important to note that this facility does not offer transportation services beyond the boundaries of Kiruna town; therefore, there will be no pick-ups from the Icehotel or any other venues situated outside the city limits.
