The exploration commences early in the morning, starting from the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, capital of adventure, via a transfer to the General Lázaro Cárdenas Agricultural and Livestock Colony, municipality of Cintalapa, Chiapas. Located at the periphery of the Ocote Biosphere Reserve, the expedition begins with an orientation session led by the chief guide, introducing us to the staff responsible for guiding us during the expedition and delivering the required personal equipment.

The initial phase of the journey begins at 10:00 am, requiring a 3-4-hour trek through the Ocote Biosphere Reserve, utilizing the assistance of porters and mules to carry essential Expedition supplies. Upon arrival at the majestic Arc of Time, the group proceeds to the beach named "Playa del Tiempo," where they will set up camp before embarking on a thrilling rappelling activity down a 65-meter wall.

During their overnight stay, the expedition concludes with a bonfire inside the canyon. On Day 2, the focus shifts towards exploring the Arc of Time. After enjoying a cup of coffee, the staff invites participants to venture a short distance from their campsite to witness the mesmerizing sounds produced by the siphons and the roar of the river, which marks the beginning of the Great Landslide area. The extraction process of equipment carried during the expedition follows shortly thereafter, aided by harnesses, carabiners, elevators, and ropes.

The second half of the day involves ascending back into the El Ocote Biosphere Reserve, traversing a rocky and rugged path reminiscent of the first day's journey through the Río la Venta Canyon. After three hours of walking, the group boards a vehicle transporting them to the General Lázaro Cárdenas Community. With the support of local families, the final meal of the expedition is prepared at 6:00 pm, followed by boarding another unit that transports them back to the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, capital of adventure.

Highlights	This expedition is offered in two versions: Basic and Premium. To validate this information, please refer to the details provided. The expedition's route is characterized by towering cliffs, which create a deep canyon with limestone walls. This canyon stretches for approximately 84 kilometers and contains numerous natural caverns within its structure. Among these geological features, the Arc of Time stands out as the tallest natural arch on Earth, reaching an impressive height of 158 meters above ground level. It should be noted that this expedition is currently operational during the months of January through May. However, operations in June may require validation or additional approval.
Includes	The selected package includes round-trip ground transportation from Tuxtla Gutiérrez to tourist units within the designated area. This service is available for both Premium (PMV) and Basic (BSV) versions. For the Premium version (PMV), the client will pay the associated fees to the Ocote Biosphere Reserve and Community Rights. Additionally, local support guides will accompany the team throughout their journey, providing assistance in case of any unforeseen circumstances. In the Basic version (BSV), while still receiving the same level of local support, the client is responsible for carrying their own camping equipment and related provisions. The included meals encompass breakfast twice per day, dinner once, and lunch twice daily. For those opting for the Premium version (PMV), these services are part of the package. Other optional additional foods not specified in the itinerary may also be arranged as per the chosen service option. Finally, Adventure and Travel Insurance through Refund is available for clients choosing either version. Certifications by National Occupational Safety and Health Program (NOM09) are also included for safety standards. Equipment such as kitchen facilities, assembly staff at campsites and kitchens, sleeping arrangements, rappelling gear, adventure travel insurance, certification under National Occupational Safety and Health Program (NOM09), mules and porters for transporting cargo, twenty-four-hour satellite tracking with GPS spot locator, portable toilets, waste extraction systems, and lodging accommodations are all provided for premium clients. For clients selecting the Basic version (BSV), they are required to bring their own camping equipment and food supplies.
