MICELIO PATAGONIA

Explore ancient cave art dating back over six millennia. Engage with diverse wildlife in Patagonia's natural landscapes. Marvel at the breathtaking vistas of the Paine Massif.

The pick-up commences early in the morning at the designated accommodation location.
Proceeding towards the Sarmientos Gate situated in the eastern section of the Torres del Paine National Park, we commence our journey.
Our inaugural hike of the day measures approximately 7.2 kilometers in length, characterized by moderate difficulty levels, and is known as the Aonikenk Trail.
This trail traverses expansive grasslands and sparse vegetation, offering opportunities to observe diverse flora and fauna including guanacos, foxes, Andean condors, and the elusive puma concolor.
Upon reaching the midpoint of the route, we encounter a modest cave adorned with ancient cave paintings dating back over 6,500 years. From this vantage point, we gain unparalleled vistas of the Paine Mountain Range.
Following our exploration, we board the vehicle and proceed to the Pehoe Camping Ground, strategically positioned within the Central Sector of the National Park.
Here, we indulge in an hour-long meal under the picturesque backdrop of the Pehoe Lake and the Cuernos del Pais.
Subsequently, we embark on a brief excursion to the Pudeto sector, initiating our second hiking adventure. We shall witness one of the park's most renowned waterfalls, aptly named Salto Grande.
Over a three-kilometer stretch, we traverse to the foot of the Nordenskjold Lake, from whence we derive an awe-inspiring panoramic view of the entirety of the Paine Massif. Notably, prominent landmarks like Admiral Nieto, Cuernos, Paine Grande, and Valle del Frances can be discerned amidst this breathtaking vista.
Having captured these magnificent scenes, we retrace our steps along the original route, concluding our expedition at Puerto Natales.
