This two-day/one-night hike offers a breathtaking experience ascending the slopes of stunning Volcan Acatenango to our private campsite. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with the tranquility of the mountain environment, enjoying a delicious camp meal amidst breathtaking vistas and ample space to unwind. Here, they can appreciate the dynamic volcanic activity of nearby Volcan Fuego, observing its powerful eruptions. On Day 2, the group embarks on a challenging yet rewarding ascent to the peak of Acatenango, standing at an elevation of 3,975 meters (12,720 feet) as the third-highest volcano in Guatemala. At the summit, guests can marvel at panoramic views spanning across neighboring highland volcanoes and the Cuchumatanes mountain range. Post-summit, the group descends through various microclimates, returning to Antigua in the late afternoon.
