2 Days Shravasti Tour From Lucknow

India boasts numerous sites dedicated to Lord Buddha's life, regarded as sacred by Buddhists. Among these, Shravasti stands out as a significant site, situated in the banks of the Ganges River approximately 170 kilometers from its current location.

On Day 01, after an early breakfast, you will depart from your accommodation in Lucknow to Shri Varshati, approximately taking 4 hours via road. Upon arrival around 11 A.M., you will check into your pre-booked hotel, followed by lunch and relaxation opportunities.

At 1 P.M., you'll commence your exploration of the historic stupas and vast monasteries near the town of Sahet-Maheti. Here, you'll pay homage to the famous Jetavana Monastery, where Buddha spent 19 Chaturmas (Rainy Seasons) under the auspicious Ananda Bodhi Tree. Key sites to explore include Gandhakuti and Anand Kuti, where Buddha delivered most of his teachings.

Following this, you'll visit the Shobhnath Temple, located nearby. This temple holds significant importance for Jain followers as it is believed to be the origin of Jain Tirthankar Sambhavnath. Your itinerary includes visiting the rich heritage and relics of both Jain and Buddhist epochs.

By 5:30 P.M., you'll conclude your sightseeing tour. Following this, you will return to your hotel for the night.

On Day 02, after a light and nutritious breakfast, you may opt to explore additional attractions within the city for up to 2-3 hours. After checking out from your hotel, you'll embark on a customized journey to either Lucknow or another chosen location, such as Kushinagar.

Upon reaching Lucknow, you'll be transferred back to your hotel or airport promptly.
