Guests can enjoy complimentary on-site parking.
In 2018, the Welcombe spa underwent a complete refresh. Upgrades to the modern wellness facility now include a new tiled swimming pool, a fresh sauna, a revamped steam room, updated relaxation loungers around the spa area, and redecorated treatment rooms (advance booking is advised). Tennis courts are also available for guests.
Originally built in 1866, this 4-star property features an elegant lounge with a grand marble fireplace, chandeliers, and period furnishings. It has also earned a Green Tourism Award.
The spacious guestrooms are styled in contemporary colors and come equipped with TVs offering a broad selection of entertainment channels. Each room also includes a work desk, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, and hairdryer.
The Welcombe Hotel is just 2 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon, home to popular attractions such as the Royal Shakespeare Company and Stratford Racecourse. Couples especially appreciate the location, giving it a rating of 9.0 out of 10 for two-person trips.
